Shock as school in leafy suburb classed as failing to stretch its ......

THE term "special measures" is not one you would associate with Ravensdale Junior School in the leafy suburb of Mickleover.

But shocked parents were yesterday being told the school has become the target of Government inspectors.

Its exam results are good - but it has been accused of failing to stretch its pupils.

It seems to be the result of a new Government "get tough" policy...
